KFX450r Velocity Intake System

No aftermarket airbox will make more HP; the competition has not tested this intake system.  This is the best Intake upgrade for your KFX450r wet conditions sage when used with water repellant outerwears. Replace that restrictive factory intake snorkel!

Kit Includes: Aluminum Intake, Uni POD Filter*, Water Repellant Outerwears, Silicon Reducer and all hardware. Uni Crankcase breather sold separately.

Replaces restrictive factory airbox with a mandrel bent and ultra-light aluminum intake tube. 2 in. to 2 1/4 in. Velocity Stack reducer at throttle body. Intended for use in dry to moderate riding conditions.

Increases intake velocity for max power at high RPM's with a noticeable increase in bottom end torque. Why? The stock intake snorkel has a tight bend that is restricting airflow. At low RPM the stock intake snorkel is holding back a punch when you jump on the throttle.  This increase in throttle response you will notice immediately!         

You will feel the power increase in top-end power when you completely un-restrict your 450's throttle body. The Velocity Intake will allow you to make maximum HP enhancing any additional modifications.

This intake is intended only for dry to moderately wet riding conditions, and is perfect for TT/moto's/drag racing/absolute dune ripping. Shaves off 3.8 lbs. from stock aribox this intake with filter and hardware is only 1.4 lbs vs. stock 5.2 lbs.

Intake tube starts with a mandrel bent 6061 T6 aluminum tubing; a welded bracket bolts to the left airbox mounting pad. A provision on that bracket mounts the air inlet temp sensor (attached to the intake snorkel in stock form).

No additional fabrication necessary, this is a simple bolt on unit!!!
