      Q:   How to gain more horse power from a re-designed Rectifier?

A:   Procom Engineering built an extra sensor and switch into the unit. When the battery is near fully charged, the sensor instructs the switch to control the Magneto Rotor (also called a stator) to run without cutting the magnet field. The rotor then runs lighter and saves the power to the engine. The engine has the ability to make more horsepower to drive your ATV faster, up to an 8% power gain!!!

Yes this does work, and will make more power and do so consistently. The increase in horsepower would be noticed when in most cases your stator would be running at full amp trying to “top off” the battery when that amperage level is not necessary. In this case the stator is wasting energy and drawing the motor down. A performance rectifier turns down the stator when the battery is fully charged or near fully charged to lessen the power draw on the engine.

In instances where the battery would need a max charge to replenish itself this rectifier will not cut down the charging power in any way. Your battery will charge as normal and your electrical system functions will not be altered or diminished in any way.
